What an exhilerating week! First, I WON this bronze sculpture, can you believe it?! It was created by Lonnie Hanzon as a model for a large, life-size puppet theater piece (with two chairs) that is now installed at Fiddler's Green. This small model was on display at the Museum of Outdoor Art (Englewood, CO) and there was a raffle so I threw in my name...can you believe it? The sculpture sits on my mantle place and we just love it. I added the photo of my family behind the chairs to sneak in a favorite picture...The other wonderful parts of this week included a snow shoe trip with my friend Robin to Mt. Evans. We surely thought someone had sprinkled the snow with glitter before we started the hike. OMG, it was the single most perfect Colorado mountain day with the blue-est of skies and no wind so it was silently magnificent. Then I taught two workshops; one thru the Art Student League (artist's books) and one thru the Abecedarian Gallery (altered books part 2). Both workshops were filled with delightful folks all wanting to play and experiment and just have some dedicated art time. Marj brought the chocolate again - along with her sweet, insightful energy. I just love these times. I wish you all a great week coming up, and hope we can all be playful as well as i.

Hi Judith - How lucky are you to win such a great prize, I never have much luck though once as a child I won a jar full of chocolate treats when I guessed the nearest amount in the jar!
