Isn't this a classic photo? I saw this after the Sunday workshop, along Larimer Street near Crema (coffee and cafe shop). It was a perfect ending (paired with an iced tea) to a delightful workshop with so many wonderful new students (and one not-so-new student)! Big thanks to Janice, Shannon, Aleta, Marty, Linda, Darice, Cheryl, Theresa, Marj and Beverly! I could feel the love and joy in your discoveries. Here is a sample of their journal page prep work:

My hubby and I took some time today to check out The Source which is a new "urban market" built on the concept of the Chelsea Market in NYC. It is quite a stretch to aim for the Chelsea Market comparison, but for our little town it is really interesting! We had lunch at the Acorn (big yum!!) and found the very best cookie on the planet at Babett Bakery. Honestly, it is worth the trip just for a single chocolate cookie (sorry to my GF friends!). They have a nice coffee bar in the middle, open area along with nice tables; hopefully we can organize a journal meet-up there soon! The Source is only a few blocks from the gallery where my show is currently. How about journal pages plus a new market experience? Try it out First Friday!!
Friday was the opening of the Re-Imagining journal show: a truly magical evening! Thanks to all of my friends who made the treck to support the efforts and share the evening of Prosecco and Popcorn with me and Sam! Robin Glickstein hand-crafted the cones for holding the popcorn and the M&M's added a sweet touch. What a super-fun evening of art talk, community and laughs, laughs, laughs. My gratitude overflows, thanks to everyone!
