Thank you to Jennifer Evans who shared her wonderful travel journal with me and inspired me to bring back the black! I am sending out the December Adventure Journal newsletter with a quick way to add some black to your journal pages; the archived issue will be on the newsletter page of this site.

What a delightful day with 9 adventurous ladies! We had a great workshop preparing our travel journal pages and playing with various mixed media, art journal techniques. Thanks to all for spending some time with me yesterday! One of the highlights is learning from each other at the rap-up session at the end. All the pages and experiments we lovely and you are all so inspiring to me.
Last week a few of us met at the Bean Fosters Coffee and Used Book store near Golden for a hot coffee and some sketching time. Thanks to Cyndi's suggestion we all challenged each other to play with "selfies" in our journals. (The coffee shop was nice enough to reserve their big community table for our little group!) We were all smiles but the sketching without any mirror was tough, stretching our imaginations and tolerance for some wonky lines. Brave work it was!
What a remarkable group of creative, courageous woman; I was honored to spend the day with each one! We sprayed, ripped, dripped, wrote, cut and basically played together in a supportive, joyous space in this Healing Pages workshop. Thank you dear Kellun, Sandy, Gail, Marj, Theresa, Sarah, Debra, Lynn, Kathy and Ann. I loved spending the day together! I am so inspired...
