What a glorious day; I had to postpone a trip out of town due to the lovely snow storm, so I had a whole day to play in the studio (after a little shoveling!). I am experimenting with some coffee filters as a new transparent layer which fits my coffee obsession. Here I have used it over a page prepared with rubber stamps and some text. This is one of the new techniques I'll be introducing at the next "layers and layers" class (April 12). Stay tuned: I am also submitting a new paper technique I have developed using these filters to the upcoming "I Heart Paper" magazine. Fingers crossed!
Another love fest at Two Hands today! Thanks to all the ladies who joined me for an afternoon of working with transparent layers. We played with wax paper, label paper, transparencies...and we all just loved the wonderful light and creative energy in Boulder. A perfect Friday afternoon event. Thanks Mia for providing this space! Below are some great examples of the work from the class.
