Tissue paper page preparations
I mailed out my November Adventure Journal Newsletter this morning with info about using bleeding tissue paper to create a first layer on my journal page. I received quite a few replies; some with questions about where to buy the tissue paper that "bleeds" and releases color onto paper or silk. I just posted a pin on my Pinterest board ( Tools & Materials I love) of some paper sold by Dick Blick. If you buy tissue paper look for the kind that does NOT say "colorfast" since you are looking for it to bleed. I purchased mine at an art store in Denver but the Dick Blick site has a better selection of color. (http://www.pinterest.com/jcmamet ). If you give it a try and get some interesting results I'd love to see them! Please share in the comment section or email them to me directly: mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org Happy experimenting!

4-13-2014 I purchased my art tissue on-line at Dhrama Trading Company. I believe it's on sale currently. It's really messy to use and what you end up with is iff-y, however, I did do one on heavy water color paper, then placed another sheet over it, followed by the tablet's cover and weighted it all down for a minute or so. Separating the two pieces of paper revealed two different pages. Looked good. Don't use the tissue on non-water color paper as it curls up. elyse
