Creative Love Bath!

Two days together with amazing, creative and generous folks; our annual Immersion class in Crested Butte was a creative love bath this year! We made 4 books in two days, and they were all beautiful even for the sewing-challenged!! At the conclusion of the workshop the group presented me with a gift. Oh my; they were soooo sneaky led by the master schemer, Dennis. What a surprise and what a send off into a bubble of gratitude. Trudy, Margot, Peggy, Kim, DeDe, Debbie, Carol, Alycia, Brends, DK, Sandy and Mr. Delacroix.....wow. Huge thanks for such a heart-full weekend.

Enjoyed Simple Sketch with you today. Came home and applied some techniques to my watercolor pencil. My aspen tree came out much better! I love adding the ink pen (mine is a sharpie) to my sketches. Still deciding whether or not to get some watercolors also. Wetting paper works a bit with my watercolor pencils. The best way is to put my watercolor brush to the pencil and then apply. Thanks again. I love your work!

It was such a fun weekend! You really do make things seem so achievable and, dare I say, easy! I loved our time and can't wait until our next opportunity to make stuff together!
