Finally! I had a few days to wander around New York last week. My only goal was finding perfect journal spots and staying hydrated (iced coffee is my drink of choice). OMG, it was such a great trip. I made it to the Highline which was absolutely magical. This is an elevated garden/park with the most amazing views. Thanks to the planners who included many comfy chairs, tables, benches...a perfect homage to a public space that is alive with wonder. Other neighborhoods that offered (more) iced coffee and great journal spots: Chelsea, East and West Village, Hell's Kitchen, Upper East and mid-town. Of course I found a few fabulous bakeries, even a most amazing shop that just sells gourmet biscotti (www.biscolatte.com).  Yes, it was all I was hoping for. I can't wait to plan a trip for others interested in "adventure journaling".
